Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Chibok, Borno State. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
