We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Beltrami County, Minnesota. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
