Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Day-to-day duties: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Insulate and ventilate the roof void Overtime paid at a premium rate.
