Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Able to read construction drawings and specifications On a typical shift you will fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
