Production welder — Kenosha County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The job is at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
