Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Clark County, Kansas. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
