Fabricator-welder — Guernsey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Guernsey County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
