Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Newton County, Texas. The job is on a quarry floor. You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Refuel the machine and record running hours Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
