Lift mechanic • Logan County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Logan County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Performance bonus on top of base pay.
