Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Clackamas County, Oregon. You will be based on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
