Great opportunity: we are hiring a car painter in Randolph County, Indiana. You will work at a dealership paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Six days a week, one day off.
