Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Washington County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
