Marble fixer — Oxfordshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fixer in Oxfordshire, England. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone Your main tasks: • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Six days a week, one day off.
