Hoist operator • Morgan County, Tennessee

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Morgan County, Tennessee. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
