We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Cass County, Minnesota. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
