We are recruiting: shakeout operator (Minnesota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Rotating shifts.
