Urgent requirement: ironing operator (Rivers State)

Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Ogu Bolo, Rivers State. The job is in a garment export house. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
