Ironing operator — West Baton Rouge Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
