On a typical shift you will log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; write up incident reports after any disturbance; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area.
