We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kennebec County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools You will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod.
