Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Pemiscot County, Missouri. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Performance bonus on top of base pay.
