You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
