Mechanical press operator wanted in George County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in George County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
