MIG/MAG welder • Freeborn County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Freeborn County, Minnesota. Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
