Domestic electrician — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring a domestic electrician in Madison County, Idaho. You will be based in a power distribution substation. Day-to-day duties: • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working Ideal candidate: • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
