We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Osborne County, Kansas. The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 3+ years on the tools preferred.
