Immediate opening: we are hiring a window glazier in Dent County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
