Argon arc welder wanted in Liberty County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Liberty County, Montana. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Part-time with flexible hours.
