Marble fitter • Traill County, North Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fitter in Traill County, North Dakota. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone On the job you will handle: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
