Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
