Great opportunity: conventional mill operator (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a toolroom. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
