Join our team: excavator operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Six days a week, one day off.
