We are recruiting: uPVC window fabricator (Scotland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day to day you will fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
