Now hiring: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Kura, Kano State. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Six days a week, one day off.
