Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
