Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Gumel, Jigawa State. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
