Banksman — Livingston Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
