Plasterer wanted in Caldwell Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets The role involves: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
