Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
