Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
