Great opportunity: we are hiring a short order cook in Oakland County, Michigan. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. Your main tasks: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Part-time with flexible hours.
