Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Hardin County, Iowa. You will be based on the press shop floor. The role involves run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
