HSE officer — Maiha

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE officer in Maiha, Adamawa State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports.
