Urgent requirement: concrete finisher (Maine)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Washington County, Maine. On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
