Now hiring: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Columbia County, New York. Day to day you will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
