Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Red River Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
