Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Lapai, Niger State. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
