Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Martin County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
