Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Crockett County, Texas. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift.
