Aluminium fitter — Blackford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Blackford County, Indiana. You should have: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders You will fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
